Terms of Service
Updated October 22, 2026 (added Smart Order, Fraud Alert and ProfitHound Plus, section 4a; added Menu Check, Price Check and Profit Pack, section 4a; small-catch and $1 minimum rules; Profit Pack look-back rule; referral credits). First effective October 18, 2026.
1. Who we are
BillCheck is run by TurnNet Labs LLC (“we”, “us”), a Tennessee company. These terms are an agreement between us and the business that signs up (“you”). The person who signs up confirms they can agree to them for that business.
2. What BillCheck does
BillCheck compares three things you give us: what you ordered (order emails or confirmations), what your suppliers invoiced (invoice files, exports or emails), and what left your bank account (read-only bank data through Plaid). It also compares them with the rules you set, such as agreed prices, fee limits and promised rebates. When something doesn’t match, it shows the difference and builds a claim packet for each supplier.
BillCheck finds differences. A difference isn’t proof that a supplier did anything wrong; many price changes are allowed under market pricing or your contract. You decide what to claim, and the supplier decides whether to credit it. We don’t promise any credit, refund or result.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in link private. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You confirm you have the right to share the invoices, orders and bank activity you connect, and that the prices and terms you enter are accurate.
4. Fees
Free scan. Your first look-back scan is free. Before you pay, it shows only the total found, the number of issues and suppliers, and the dates covered.
Unlock. To see the details and get claim packets from a look-back, you pay 15% of the total it found, once.
Monitoring. If you save a card, we re-check every day. When we catch something new, we charge 15% of it to your card automatically, then show it to you and prepare the claim. We group small catches until our fee on them reaches $3 (about $20 caught), or until 30 days pass and the fee is at least $1. Catches smaller than that keep waiting. The minimum charge for unlocking a look-back is $1. There’s no monthly fee and no cap.
We charge for catching a difference, not for the supplier paying it. Fees aren’t refunded because a supplier declines a claim. If a catch was our mistake (for example, we misread an invoice or counted something twice), tell us within 60 days and we’ll refund the fee on it. If a charge fails we retry up to three times over seven days and pause new reveals until it goes through. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice by email; changes never apply to catches made before then.
Fan Cave and other LocalRun hub stores may have BillCheck included in their hub plan; the plan they signed up for says so.
4a. Menu Check, Price Check, Smart Order, Fraud Alert and ProfitHound Plus
What they are. Menu Check (for food & drink) and Price Check (for retail stores) are the same tool with different wording. They use your supplier invoices and your sales to estimate what each item costs you, and suggest prices to hit the targets you set. Smart Order compares the prices you pay at each supplier and splits your order into one sheet per supplier. Fraud Alert reads your point-of-sale refunds, voids, discounts, comps, drawer activity and timeclock and flags things to ask about by person (a flag is not proof). ProfitHound Plus (formerly Profit Pack) includes all four tools: a Menu Check or Price Check plan, BillCheck monitoring with no 15% fee, Smart Order and Fraud Alert.
Free scan. Setting up and seeing the headline number is free. The item-by-item report, the price suggestions and pushing new prices to your point-of-sale system need a checkup.
Prices (US dollars, plus any sales tax):
- One checkup: $249, paid once.
- Menu Check / Price Check plan: $29 a month, or $299 a year.
- Smart Order: $79 paid up front for your first 3 months, then $29 a month.
- Fraud Alert: $149 for one full report (open 30 days), or $99 paid up front for that report plus your first 3 months of monitoring, then $49 a month.
- ProfitHound Plus (all four tools): $79 a month with a 3-month minimum ($237 paid up front for the first 3 months), or $799 a year.
- Monthly and yearly plans are priced per store (location). One-time checkups and reports are per purchase.
3-month starts. ProfitHound Plus monthly, Smart Order and Fraud Alert monthly start with 3 months paid up front. After the third month they renew automatically every month at the monthly price until you cancel. If you cancel during the first 3 months, nothing is refunded and the tool stays on until those 3 months end. You can cancel any time in Settings → Billing.
ProfitHound Plus and the BillCheck look-back. With an active ProfitHound Plus plan, BillCheck monitoring catches are included with no 15% fee and no card needed for them. Your first BillCheck look-back report (up to two years of history) is included on a yearly plan, and on a monthly plan after 3 paid months. Before that you can unlock it for 15% as usual. If ProfitHound Plus lapses, BillCheck goes back to 15% of what we catch.
Free scan limits. To keep the free scan free for everyone: free accounts get up to 40 invoice-photo reads a month and up to 2 linked bank accounts, and a linked bank stays connected for 30 days unless you turn on monitoring or a plan (you can link it again any time). A store that hasn’t paid for anything gets one free small-find report (under $249 a year) per 90 days.
Referrals. Share your referral link. A business that signs up through it gets 50% off its first Menu Check / Price Check / ProfitHound Plus payment, or, for BillCheck only, our fee waived on its first $100 caught ($15 credit). After that business’s first successful payment, you get a credit: one month of your plan ($29 or $79) on your next bill, or a $15 BillCheck fee credit if you don’t have a plan. Referring yourself or another location of the same business doesn’t count. Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
Monthly plans are month to month — cancel anytime. Your price is locked while you stay subscribed. On monthly plans, a checkup unlocks after every 3 paid months (so 4 a year). Yearly plans are paid up front and give you 4 checkups for the year. An unlocked checkup report stays open for you for a while after you open it so you can work through it.
Guarantee. If a checkup finds less than $249 a year, it’s free: we open the report without using up your checkup. If you paid $249 for a one-time checkup and it finds less than $249 a year, email us and we’ll refund that fee or credit it toward a later checkup, whichever you pick.
Founding price. The first 100 stores to subscribe keep the price they signed up at for as long as they stay subscribed without a break, even if we raise prices for new stores. If you cancel and come back later, the price at that time applies.
Canceling. You can cancel any time in the billing portal (the “Receipts & billing” button in your account). Canceling stops future renewals. Payments for checkups already paid for don’t refund, and any checkups you haven’t used end when the plan ends. After you cancel a monthly plan we don’t bill again; you just stop getting new checkups.
Estimates, not promises. Costs, margins and “found” amounts are estimates from your invoices, your sales and the answers you give. A price suggestion assumes you keep selling the same amount at the new price, which may not happen. “Found” means money the numbers point to, not money you’ve saved. You decide every price; nothing changes in your point-of-sale system until you approve it.
5. Sending claims
If you add a supplier rep’s email, we can send a claim on your behalf from our sending address with your business name, and replies go straight to your email. “Review first” waits for your tap; “Auto-send” sends when a claim is ready. You’re responsible for who you send claims to and what you ask for. You can turn sending off at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t upload data you don’t have the right to share, try to get into other accounts, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to harass a supplier or anyone else.
7. Your data
Your data is yours. We use it to run BillCheck for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell it and never move money from your bank account.
8. Ending
You can delete your account any time from Settings. That disconnects your bank, deletes your invoices, orders and transactions, and stops all charges; fees already charged for catches you received stay charged. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or don’t pay, and we’ll tell you why.
9. No warranty; limits
BillCheck is provided “as is.” We work hard to read every line correctly, but invoices and bank data can be incomplete or wrong, and we can miss things. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it. BillCheck isn’t legal, accounting or tax advice.
10. General
Tennessee law governs these terms. If we change them, we’ll post the new version here and email you about material changes at least 30 days ahead. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
